(Note: Exact practice days and start times vary by school site). Weekly Games: Held once a week on either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your school site. Game Schedules: Full game schedules will be published and available on the first day of the season (August 31st). Please Note: Spots fill up quickly! Enrollment is capped per site to maintain proper supervision and guarantee plenty of playing time for all participants.

Our program provides childcare year-round from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. We have 21 sites serving over 2,400 students with approximately 250 employees. We have been providing the La Mesa-Spring Valley community with quality childcare for over 40 years.

This school year, transcenDANCE will introduce experienced Teaching Artists to STEAM and SVA. These artists will lead interactive dance classes for 6th to 8th graders, emphasizing movement-based learning through culturally affirming dance styles and fostering creative expression. This approach aims to enhance students' self-awareness, promote various learning methods, and boost confidence, following the best practices in the Creative Youth Development field, outside of regular school hours. Practice days, times, and location: Session: Monday, September 14th, 2026 through Friday, June 11th, 2026 Spring Valley Academy and STEAM Academy in their Multipurpose Room Students will be served an evening snack before the class begins. SVA - Monday 3:35-5:00 pm and Tuesdays 2:30-4:00 pm, transcenDANCE class STEAM - Thursday and Friday 3:05-4:35 pm, transcenDANCE class Participation and registration are FREE. This program is being offered at no cost to students and is funded through our Extended Student Services, Expanded Learning Program. Enrollment in the ESS program is not necessary or required to participate.
